Kristina Ribarić

Graduated from the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation in 2008. In 2011, she enrolled in psychotherapy education in Cybernetics and System Therapy. In 2009, she completed her education in Volunteer Management (Volunteer Coordinator).
Since October 2007, she has been employed at Primary School Ivana Rabljanina Rab as a professional associate social pedagogue. She is the leader of the County Council of Professional Associates in the Education and Rehabilitation Profile in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. Over the years, she worked as an external expert associate of the Center for Social Welfare (in Zagreb and Rab), the Family Center, the kindergarten, as well as the high school on the island of Rab. In 2008, she founded the Kocka Association for Children and Youth on Rab, of which she has been the president since its inception and in which she is the coordinator of volunteers, workshop leader, and implementer of numerous preventive activities through which the Association improves the quality of life of children and youth on the island.
She is generally active in the non-governmental and non-profit sector and was awarded by her local community in 2018 with the City of Rab Plaque in the field of civil society, improvement of volunteer work and work with children and youth. She has been awarded multiple times for her volunteer engagements and projects, and in 2015 she was awarded the Volunteer of the Year award in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. 2015/16 she lived in New Zealand and worked in several kindergartens. On his many trips, he uses opportunities for personal and professional growth and development. She is a member of several associations, professional associations and commissions.
